It's taken me 6 years post traumatic breakdown to tune into my body/feelings/emotions at the age of 67! Yesterday, I noticed I was holding my breath and I was thirsty, exactly the type of things I'd have overlooked for decades. It's been a tough road to travel and my nervous system has been so dysregulated, but I'm learning. The ultimate irony is that I was a fitness instructor/Pilates teacher for over 25 years and a yoga teacher for 6 years!
